Questions
What does early access get me?
A 30-day, read-only shadow trial. Dragons connects to your fleet in side-by-side mode: it observes, records, and reports what it would have caught -- without touching production. No credit card. At day 30, you receive a report of liveness events your existing watchdog missed.
What happens when I exceed the 50-agent limit on Pro?
Dragons does not hard-stop enrollment. You receive a notification at 45 agents and can continue operating while you evaluate an upgrade to Enterprise. No data loss, no service interruption.
Is the open-source core really free?
Yes. The Dragons open core is free to self-host. You can run the full control plane -- enrollment, leases, organism state, heartbeat, WorkLedger -- on your own infrastructure. Final license terms are being finalized ahead of general availability. Managed plans add hosted operations, autoheal, evidence export, and support.
Do you offer monthly billing?
Pro pricing is set during early-access onboarding. Enterprise contracts are annual and custom-negotiated. The annual commitment aligns with how platform teams budget infrastructure tooling.
What does "governed agent-hours" mean?
The number of enrolled agents multiplied by the hours they operate under Dragons governance. This is the value metric: your cost scales with fleet size, and your value scales with the agents Dragons keeps alive, authorized, and auditable.
